Nike's launch page puts the Air Max 90 SP in triple black on SNKRS for November 13 at $170, style code IV4504-001 (Nike). The same page describes stitched overlays and textured accents on a leather build.
The construction is where this pair leaves the standard model. The Swoosh, mudguard and side panels are stitch lines on one flat leather surface instead of separate layers, the plastic eyestays give way to perforated leather that sits flush, the heel loses its Nike Air badge, and a tonal tongue logo is the only mark left. Hypebeast puts the result nearer NikeLab's minimal runs than a typical pair. The midsole, Waffle outsole and visible Air unit carry over in black, with a faint blue tint inside the Air window.
The model is thin on the index. Air max 90 returns 12 listings, and three of them are 90s, a Shadow Brown pair and two Patta Waves. Nike returns 2,476.
