Information we handle
Browsing and service activity. If you accept analytics, we record the pages opened and the web API endpoints requested, together with the time, request method, response status, and response time where applicable. The activity tables do not store search terms, request bodies, IP addresses, or visitor identifiers. The web server and hosting infrastructure may separately process IP addresses and other request information needed to deliver and protect the site.
Account and personal archive. If you create an account, we process the details you provide, authentication and session information, and the pieces, alerts, searches, viewing history, and preferences you choose to save. Some preferences and saved items are also kept in your browser. If you accept analytics, product interactions may be associated with a browser-generated engagement identifier to help order recommendations.
Requests and correspondence. When you submit a sourcing request or contact us, we process the information you provide so we can respond. The contact form sends its contents to Web3Forms, the service handling those messages.
Outbound shopping links. If you follow a link to a retailer, we may record which product, listing, or retailer link was selected, its placement, and any affiliate attribution associated with that link. The retailer and any affiliate network you visit are responsible for their own services and privacy practices.
Why we use it
We use account details to provide the account features you request; service and security data to operate and protect the site; sourcing and contact details to answer you; and consent-based activity data to see which pages and endpoints are used and where the site needs improvement. Where processing is necessary to provide a requested service, we rely on that need. We rely on legitimate interests for operating and securing the service where appropriate, and on your choice for optional site analytics and product-engagement tracking.
Who receives information
Our hosting and infrastructure providers process data needed to run the site. Web3Forms receives messages sent through the contact form. Authentication, email delivery, retailer, and affiliate providers may receive relevant information when those features are used. Pages may also load fonts or images from external hosts. We do not publish individual browsing activity in the admin dashboard; it is restricted to administrators.
How long we keep it
The new page-view and API-request activity records are intended to be removed after 90 days; cleanup runs when further activity is recorded, so deletion may be later if the site is inactive. Browser-stored preferences remain until you clear them or the site replaces them. Other records are kept for as long as needed for the feature, correspondence, security, or applicable legal obligations. You can ask us about a specific record or request deletion using the address above.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data, restrict or object to certain processing, or request portability where applicable. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time using Cookie settings in the footer; new page-view, API-request and product-engagement records then stop. Withdrawing consent does not automatically remove older records, so contact us to request deletion. You may also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency if you are unhappy with our response. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals also stop the optional tracking, but do not turn off every site feature or form of browser storage.
