Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small values a site can store in your browser. Elusive also uses browser localStorage and sessionStorage, which can remember choices and activity between pages. Clearing site data in your browser removes local values, but it does not automatically delete information already sent to our servers.
What the site uses
| Type | What it does | Storage |
|---|---|---|
| Consent choice | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional site analytics so you are not asked on every visit. | The cc_cookie first-party cookie, for up to 182 days. |
| Sign-in and security | Keeps you signed in and supports authentication, including two-factor sign-in. | Session cookies managed by our authentication service. |
| Preferences and saved features | Remembers your chosen currency, saved shows, anonymous saved pieces and recent views, and taste-related settings. Signed-in account data can also be stored on our servers. | Browser local storage and, for some temporary product context, session storage. |
| Product engagement, if accepted | Uses a browser-generated identifier to associate product interactions for recommendations. | The elusive-engagement-session key in local storage; interaction records are sent to our servers only after you accept analytics. The key is cleared if you reject or withdraw that choice. |
| Site activity, if accepted | Counts page opens and web API requests for the admin dashboard. The activity tables store paths or endpoint names and timestamps, not visitor IDs or query strings. | The page-view request itself does not set an analytics cookie or local-storage identifier. |
Local-storage keys used by site features include preferredCurrency, elusive:calendar-saved-shows, elusive-favorites, elusive-recently-viewed, and keys beginning with elusive-taste-. Some keys for signed-in visitors include an account suffix. These values remain in your browser until cleared or replaced. Authentication-cookie lifetimes are set by the sign-in service.
External services and outbound links
Images and fonts may be requested from third-party hosts. If you use the contact form, Web3Forms receives what you submit. When you leave Elusive for a retailer or affiliate destination, that site may set its own cookies under its own policy. We do not control those sites' storage.
Your choices
The first time you visit, you can accept or reject optional analytics; it is off until you accept. Select Cookie settings in the footer at any time to change or withdraw your choice. You can also clear or block cookies and local storage through your browser. Blocking sign-in storage can prevent account features from working. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals stop optional tracking even when analytics was previously accepted. If you have questions about activity already recorded, contact hello@elusivecph.com. For how we handle personal information, read the Privacy notice.
